My name is Lis Garrett and in 2026 I embarked on a new career as a Virtual Assistant. After a lifetime in finance and journalism I decided to take everything I’d learnt in those very diverse industries and start my third career doing something that has underpinned every role I’ve ever undertaken – the ability to bring order and structure to any project or business function with my administrative skills and analytical mindset. I’m a spreadsheet queen who loves a to-do list, and nothing makes me happier than a tidy inbox and a well planned calendar.
When I’m not wrangling inboxes and spreadsheets I can usually be found somewhere with a camera – either my garden or a gig. I specialise in black and white portrait photography at gigs and I document pretty much every leaf and flower in my garden for my scrapbooks. My other major passion in life is travel and I can often be found somewhere on a cruise ship, camera in hand, exploring the world. My absolute favourite place is Pompeii, but I have a soft spot for San Francisco.
